Terms that show up across the project and its apps.

Home First : The project: a family of self-hosted apps and the shared code behind them.

Monorepo : The single homefirst repository that holds every app and the packages they share.

homefirst.cloud : An optional, separate hosted companion for things a home server can’t do well on its own (such as reliable push notifications). The apps run fully without it.

Self-hosted : Software you run on hardware you control, rather than as a service operated by someone else.
